Reflection
Everything in life changes, whether for better or for worse. Seasons change, circumstances change, relationships change, and people change. Man can and will fail you, but God never will.
God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. You cannot add to Him, neither can you take away from Him. What He has spoken remains true. His character does not change because our circumstances change, and His Word does not change because the world around us changes.
There will be times when what we once depended on is no longer there. There will be seasons when life does not turn out the way we expected. But even in those moments, we have something—and Someone—unchanging to hold on to.
When everything around you is changing, put your trust in God. His Word will never change, and He will never fail you.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for being the same yesterday, today, and forever. When everything around me changes, help me to keep my trust in You. Remind me that Your Word remains true and that You will never fail me. Help me to stand firmly on Your promises through every season of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
