Scripture
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6.
Reflection
Waiting can be one of the hardest seasons of life. We often want answers immediately, but God is working even when we cannot see Him.
Just because nothing seems to be happening does not mean God is absent. Sometimes, He is preparing us for what comes next.
Waiting requires us to trust God when we don’t understand His timing or His plan. Proverbs 3:5–6 reminds us not to depend on our own understanding but to acknowledge God and allow Him to direct our paths.
Sometimes the waiting season is not wasted time. God may be preparing us, strengthening our faith, or directing us toward something we cannot see yet.
Prayer
Lord, help me to trust You with all my heart and not depend on my own understanding. Help me to acknowledge You in everything I do and trust You to direct my path. When I don’t understand the waiting, remind me that you are still working. Amen.
